Happy Hallows Eve!

I just had to share this funny with you all!! Hilarious!! poor poor kid!

So what are you going to be for Halloween???

A Fall Favorite! Yummmmmm

As the leaves change colors



and the warm air turns crisp and cool



and we bring out our scarves and hats.......



I can't help but start to crave one of my Fall Favorites!



It's a Pumpkin Dip! mmmmmm it's sooo good and perfect for this time of year!



So i thought i would share this super duper easy recipe with you all!

Ok ready???

All you need is:

• 1 can (16oz) of plain pumpkin (though you can use the pumpkin pie filling, but i find its loaded with stuff you just dont need)

• 1 120z tub of cool whip ( i do the lite version)

• 1 pkg of Vanilla Instant pudding mix

• cinnamon and nutmeg to taste

sounds good so far right??

• All you do is mix together the pumpkin and pudding mix together first. I usually only use half a pkg of pudding mix. i find it can be too sweet otherwise.

• Then fold in the Cool Whip. Again its kind of to taste, but i usually only use about 3/4 the tub.

• Sprinkle in Cinnamon and Nutmeg to taste. (i prefer more cinnamon....)

• Let chill for at least an hour.

• To serve, use Ginger Snaps! yummm ... or Graham Crackers!

♥ For a slight variation: use a pkg of Cheesecake Instant Pudding Mix instead of the Vanilla!


Soooooo good! Even my mom who doesnt care for pumpkin loved this!

Ok, So I hope you all enjoyed part 1 of our Costumes! isn't P1xie's shop too cute!!

But, Let's say you aren't looking for a full on costume....

Craftiness has obviously been a part of IMadeYouABeard's life! "I have always loved Halloween, probably because my mom and I always handmade my costumes as a kid. Even as a "grown-up", I still hand make a costume, even if it's not quite as crazy as the ones I had when I was young. I loved seeing other people's costumes, as well, as it gave me ideas for next year. Halloween really brings out people's creativity." (It does indeed!)

P1xie recalls one great family Halloween tradition growing up, "I guess it was always tradition for us to go down to a place call Shakey Pizza in San Jose for their Halloween costume contest (my mom made our costumes) I never won but my brother did as a robot. My dad was good with electronics and his cardboard with silver fabric had lights and a robot beep. " Sounds like you came from a pretty crafty family P1xie!

Terrifyingly Tasty Treats Part 2

Nikid makes these mmmm 4 Luscious Pear Pops which i to say i have never seen or had before, but wow looks scrumptious!

Or maybe you like something a bit more traditional this time of year - like say....

A Caramel Apple!!! And not just any old Caramel Apple, but a Belgium Chocolate covered Caramel Apple! *drooling*

And i have to say, Bark is usually something i think of come Christmas time, but Nikid has some delicious White Chocolate Candy Corn Bark perfect for fall!

Nikid says she enjoys just sitting outside with her husband and their 2 boys, carving pumpkins, drinking cidar and roasting marshmallows every Halloween! (sounds like a great time to me too!! can i come? lol)

She's been baking, candy making and cooking since she was little girl. Her and her family have sold their Italian cookies and pastries locally for years and she opened her etsy shop a little over a year ago.

Freak Friday Feature Eerie Embellishments Part 7

For our Finaly Freaky Friday Eerie Embellishments Feature for today, i wanted to show off a shop that well isn't quite of the ordinary! Uturn doesn't offer just typical Halloween decor! oh no! Her stuff is much cooler than that!

Of course, what is even better about Uturn's sculptures, is that you don't have to store them away til next Halloween, they can be displayed all year round!


I asked her what she remembered most about Halloween growing up, "My favorite thing I remember from when I was a kid, was the night before Halloween. Where I come from it was called mischief night. We would go out and throw toilet paper in the trees. This gave the neighborhood a scary feeling especially if it rained and the toilet paper got all weird." (of course in our town, we called that Teepeeing! lol and yes very mischevious! - but oh so fun! not that I would know or anything! lol)

Freak Friday Feature Eerie Embellishments Part 5

Paperika shared her 2 fondest Halloween stories with me! "One year, my sister and I dressed up as grandmas--we even walked with difficulty, and spoke in cute little old lady voices! LOL....The other one, my mom took corrugulated cardboard and made "ice cream cones" and then used tissue paper to make the scoop of ice cream. Sis was, I believe, wasstrawberry and I was a mint chip cone! :)They were hilarious!" (i can just imagine!!)

They are a boyfriend/girlfriend team. They have so many creepy cool photos to decorate your home with. They enjoy going on adventures and taking pictures of creepy, abandoned places. "We like to call our subject matter "underbelly art" because we find beauty in the less-than-glamorous, forgotten aspects of life: rusty junkyards full of old hot rods, hidden graveyards overrun with weeds, and dilapidated buildings with cobwebs in the corners. plus, we're just a little bit morbid to begin with :D" lol gotta love that!




When asked about their favorite Halloween memory, " the year my cousin and i dressed as bed in-era john and yoko. It was a last minute idea, so we had to make due with what we had. I wore a nightgown and black witch's wig to be yoko. She wore a jesus wig/beard combo and an old man's pajama set to be john. We made his signature wire-framed glasses out of two easter egg dippers that we twisty tied together!".
