Known for her Lizard avatar on Etsy, I want to introduce you to a fabulous Etsy friend of mine, LizardQueenJewelry. She has been on Etsy for exactly 2 years now! In fact July 24th marks her two year Etsyversary!!!! Woot!! Congrats Lizard!!!

♥ How did you hear about Etsy?
I heard about Etsy from a friend that sells vintage on Etsy (DoNotDestroy) and I decided to sign up because I loved the site and thought that it would be a good way to give online selling a try.

♥ What one piece of advice would you give a new seller?
The one piece of advice that I would give a new Etsy seller is not to get discouraged. Establishing your shop a getting into the swing of selling takes time, patience and a lot of hard work. Also, read as much as you can! You can get a lot of advice about selling from the wonderful Etsians in the forums. (i second this!! forums a great wealth of knowledge!)


♥ What is your favorite feature on Etsy?
I love the Treasury feature! It is so fun to see what others love on Etsy, and a fantastic way to find new shops!


♥ If money were no object, what on Etsy would you buy?
If money were not a factor what would I buy? The list is so long! Being a jewelry maker, I would love to be able to buy more handmade beads and findings. There are also many fantastic handmade jewelry displays...

♥ What one piece in your shop are you most proud of?
The piece in my shop that I am most proud of is probably this one...

My most favorite piece is an 80s necklace given to me by a friend Sarah who plans to split profits -- I swear, she's crazy! I might just have to keep it and give her a nice cut :)

♥ How did you hear about Etsy? and what made you sign up?
I first heard about Etsy on Ebay of all places. I was selling some of my accumulated household junk and started chatting with a gal who made jewelry, she suggested that I try Etsy and I was thrilled to find such a great place!

♥ What one piece of advice would you give a new Etsy seller?
List something everyday.
♥ What feature do you like most about Etsy?
As always I do love the treasuries.

Okay are you ready, there are only 412 to talk about that are my very favorites! Better get a tini...


♥ If money were no object - what would you buy from Etsy?
Oh how fun that would be...I would start by going through all my favorites in both my shops and just start buying!!! Then I would just surf around and keep on buying! The post office would have to rent an 18 wheeler to deliver my packages!!!

♥ What piece of yours are you most proud of?
Purple Party Girl (and i have to agree! its gorgeous!)

ok here we go (chortle)I meet someone on Craigs list that introduced me to Etsy girlinworld.etsy.com, I checked it out and was very disillusioned about the "other E site" so I thought I would give it a go

♥What one piece advice would you give a new seller?
Take great pictures, it makes all the difference in looking professional, something I plan on working on in the near future

♥What is your Favorite shop?
i couldn't pick just one, there are so many great ones. Although sarahinflorida.etsy.com is super cool! (chortle... very funny sarah!!! lol)

♥If money were no object What would You buy?
Hmmm some huge funky piece of wall art for my new house

♥What piece are you most proud of?
I am most proud of the red cable knit hat in my store!

♥How did you hear about etsy? and what made you sign up?
I know etsy from one of my friend. She also is a seller in etsy. On the beginning, I am not serious on this business. I share the shop with another friend name William, therefore my shop call bnwcraft, Brian and William’s craft. But after 2 months my friend still cannot come out any craft item, and I felt he not really want this shop, so I feel he do want to continue, so I decide to continue bnwcraft by myself.♥What one piece of advice would you give a new etsy seller?
Try and wait. Try any new technique for doing craft. When the first I join Etsy, I just doing felt plush, but not any single sale. After 3 months, my housemates suggest me to make sock plush. So I learn it from website and get my first sale on the 6 months after I created my shop.


♥What feature do you like most about etsy?

Alchemy and Forum. Alchemy opens an opportunity for buyer to get what they want and for seller to get more sales. Forum is the place to share the experience and doing promotion, like in CRAZY BNR Thread.

♥Tell us about a favorite shop you have on here?
In etsy all the seller are best. I like felt, sock plush and Crocheted. The top 3 favor shop:

The most proud of is the Dibo Dragon:

I took the most time to make the Dibo Dragon. It took me around 3days to finish it, and is the most big size that I have made.


I don't know about the rest of you, but i just love BNW's plushies!!! They are so adorable! He does lots of custom orders too - and it seems, from what i have seen, he can make anything you want!!

♥ How did you hear about Etsy? and what made you sign up? I began making my products out of need for my overly sensitive skin. It then became a bit of an obsession and I couldn’t stop making them, and when overloaded with my own products, I gave them away to family and friends. Then I started hearing, “you should sell on Etsy”. I had no clue what this was, so when I finally decided to sell I looked into what Etsy was all about, and I thought it was pretty cool to have a place to sell without having to have a website.



♥ What feature do you like most about etsy?
I love using the Pounce feature when I am bored, I look for new and/or undiscovered shops and tweet their products. I remember waiting and wishing for that first sale, so I hope that has helped someone get a sale or a shop heart.

♥ Tell us about a favorite shop you have on here?
Pinkies Palace. I wanted handmade thank you cards for my orders and I found her through the Pounce feature and have been a loyal buyer from her since that first purchase. She makes fabulous thank you cards for me.

♥ If money were no object - what would you buy from etsy?
I am really starting to like the Steampunk Watch Part Jewelry… and this business card holder is adorable…

♥ What piece of yours are you most proud of?
My Sun Soap is my best creation to date. Made just for this contest, it was the first piece I tried to step out of my comfort zone and whoop it up and get creative…and I think it came out fabulous!!
♥ What one piece of advice would you give a new Etsy seller? Patience. I know that is so cliché, but it is hard to get noticed on Etsy. There are a lot of sellers, so you need to market yourself like crazy, and then just wait for people to find you, and hope they like your product enough to become a repeat customer and hopefully tell their friends.
