Let Me Introduce You To My Little Tiger Friend

Ok Maybe not Little! lol I am talking about http://liquidsabre.etsy.com/ I call her Liquid, or Sabre, or by her alter ego she is tigger to me! One of the very first people on etsy that i ever met in the forums. She has been a great support for me! Helping me with so many aspects of etsy and tweaking my shop to make it better. But, that is not all, she has been a great friend! Many a hours have been spent chatting and having fun, sharing ideas, thoughts and just making each other laugh.

Her talent is endless. She makes the most beautiful Jewelry! In fact i just recieved this lovely bracelet from her. (It's the black one in the center. ) She even handmade the clasp! The picture here cannot even do it justice!

She designs all her pieces using wonderful bright colors. Most of her pieces are made with silver wire, which i admit i love! I have always been a silver person. This piece here is a prime example of her beautiful work with silver. It's called Snowflake Obsidian . Which i just love her titles, or rather names! She wire wrapped the beads to create this stunning bangle. Truly beautiful!

This is a gorgeous set she made, Black Onyx Watch Bracelet Set. It was handmade with Black Onyx, Freshwater Pearls and Sterling Silver. The watch face is Silver Plated Geneva. It has a very classy and elegant look and feel to it. Perfect for a night out, special occasion, or anytime you just want to wear something special.

Her Earrings are always beautiful i think! And she always keeps a nice variety in different price ranges. I have a few pairs of hers i just love! Some that are more fun, different, and great for daily wear, like this pair here, called Tear Drop Glass Earrings are so pretty, and will go with anything!

But she also makes much more elegant earrings like her Corsette Earrings. I love the name because it sooo fits how they look! As she puts it, "Looks like the turquoise is wearing a corsette. That was the first thought I had when these were finished. " She also handmade the ear wires!
What i think i love the most is that this is a wonderful person, she will give you nothing but the best in customer service! She makes unique and beautiful pieces. And i love how she puts it (from her shop announcement): "All the jewelry I make, Belongs to someone else, not me. The hard part is finding out who it belongs to. So ask yourself, Does this belong to me or someone I know? "
Please check her out! You won't be dissapointed! And if you see a big white tiger around in the forums, say hi! That's her!
Oh and referring back to her "alter ego" she just opened up a jewelry supply shop too - called http://sabrestash.etsy.com if you ever need supplies, look her up!

New Daisy Line

So seeing as soon spring will be here, i have come to realize that people will just not want to buy scarves and hats so much anymore. Even though i love to knit them, i just know i had to find some other outlet and avenue to sell. So here's where my love of daisies and fabric come in! Messing around one day i made this darling new clutch.

Then i started thinking that i could make really cute sets, with matching card holders that would easily slip inside, that could be used as well card holders, or stash your cash in, or even cell phones in.

So lately thats what i have been focusing more on. Especially since i finally found a bunch of daisies in all kinds of colors! oh man, good thing i am selling or i would be sooo broke! lol What can i say, i love fabrics, and i love daisies! Almost as much as i love yarn and buttons! lol No matter how much i already have, i still want more! (please tell me, its not just me!) lol
So this past week i have created two more sets . My Polka Dot Daisy Clutch set . I think its a really fun fabric. I mean who doesnt like polka dots! In greens and pinks and white, and adorned with cute pink daisies. I have never been a huge fan of the clutch til recently. I guess i dont like having to lug big bags around, when all i need is something to stash my keys, cell phone and wallet in. And this is perfect for that.

But i have to admit, so far my favorite one i have made to date, is my oriental themed one. At least i think it looks oriental to me. Called the Cherry Blossom Daisy Clutch Set. And this one i kind of turned into a wristlet, by attaching white ribbon loop to one end, that is easily wearable and carryable! It's such a cute fabric, and i have so much left over too, i have yet to decide what to do with. But dont you just love these big daisies?? Ok maybe it's just me! lol
I am really hoping to make more and that it really takes off. They are so fun to make, and i think turn out pretty cute too. And like i said before, now that spring will be near, i am trying out new things to make, and different creative ways to keep my shop going.

Welcome!

Well this is my first ever blog, I admit I am sooo new to this whole blogging thing. But, I thought I would give it a shot. I will mostly be talking about and showcasing many of the wonderfully talented etsians I have met and come across since joining back in September. I will of course show my new and upcoming items as well!

In some ways i still feel very new to Etsy, but in others, its quite like home! So many wonderfully friendly people I have met and become friends with, it's almost like a little etsy family. Lol well ok, not "little" lol as there are hundreds of thousands of us on there! But, you get the idea!

I hope if you haven't heard of Etsy by now, you will check it out -
http://etsy.com . It's a place for all things handmade and vintage. It's still considered somewhat new company I think, only being a little over 2 years old. But, I think it's a name that will soon be well known world wide and i am excited to be a part of it!

Please feel free to check out my little shop on there
http://missknits.etsy.com I am constantly updating my shop, adding new items daily! I am also in the forums or in chat often, so if you see me, please say hi! Thanks again for reading my little blog! I am still getting it up and running but do come back often! You never know what treasures you might discover!
